Case study
The starting point
Tapplify was built with a partner who owns rental cabins in Canada. He noticed that guests called at all hours, often in the middle of the night, to ask simple things such as how to light the fireplace.
The problem
The same questions repeated at every stay, and the host had to be awake to answer them. Printed guides go out of date and guests do not want to install another app.
What was engineered
A secure tool built around NFC and QR codes, so a guest taps or scans and opens the property page right away, with no app. It works as an easy, fast and simple concierge inside the property.
An AI concierge trained on each property can speak with the guest and learn from the questions, so its answers keep improving. The owner updates content and sees activity from a dashboard.
What it demonstrates
A real operational pain, solved at the source
The product started from a repeated problem the owner lived every week, not from a feature list.
No friction for the end user
Guests open it with a tap or a scan, in their own language, with nothing to install.
AI that improves with use
The assistant is trained on the property and gets better with the questions guests actually ask.
Built for many properties
Content per property, one dashboard for the owner and room to grow from a single cabin to a portfolio.
Do your people answer the same questions every day?
Repeated questions are usually a process that has not been captured yet. We start by finding them.
