Case study
Why it exists
VRINSITU was created with a goal: to be the first company in Venezuela to broadcast 4K and 8K video in 360°, on Oculus headsets or any other device.
The team built a solution around 8K cameras for 360° transmission and video stitching, and modeled environments such as stadiums, placing the pitch with the live camera feed inside them. It was done, but it is expensive, which has made it hard to scale.
Building for others
In parallel, VRINSITU works as a development company. For a global automaker it animated an entire vehicle, so people wearing headsets can use it and explore the interior, the engine and every detail. The same approach has produced virtual worlds, games and other products.
The league project
In January 2026 VRINSITU won the contract to build the official video and audio streaming app of the Venezuelan football league. The plan was to start broadcasting within six months at the earliest. By March the first live event was already on air.
What was engineered
Native mobile apps and the backend behind them, integrated with third-party providers for match results and a news site. Alongside them, administrative modules, server monitoring, and automatic launch of real-time video processing.
The team learned how live streaming and CDN consumption work by running them, adjusting the platform with each event.
Learning in production
The first match was a success, although few people used the service. It also showed what the platform needed next, starting with lower latency, and the team improved it event by event.
The result
Liga FUTVE streams football matches every day, with more than 90,000 registered users and thousands of hours of broadcast. The platform keeps adding clients.
How it unfolded
- January 2026Contract for the official streaming app of the league. Plan: broadcast within six months.
- March 2026First live event on air, months ahead of plan.
- Since thenLower latency, more integrations, administrative modules and automated video processing, release by release.
- TodayDaily matches, 90K+ registered users and thousands of hours broadcast.
What it demonstrates
Delivery ahead of plan
A product planned to go live within six months was broadcasting its first event in two.
Infrastructure is part of the product
Video at several resolutions depends on delivery, CDN and latency, and the team tuned them together with the apps.
Improvement from real usage
The first event exposed what mattered. Each release answered something observed in production.
Two disciplines under one roof
Immersive technology and streaming infrastructure, built by the same engineering team.
